Wedding is a new initiation for a Hindu woman. There are eight types of wedding ceremony. The man must have attained the age of 25. The bride is adorned with complete sixteen accessories called Sohlah Shingar. Here the proposal comes for the girl and the groom makes the holy vows.

The wedding ritual is similar to a dance, when the bride and groom are moving together. Later on they make together seven steps on seven bags of rice and finally sprinkled with the holy water to bless them.
